A lot of people have been asking for an updated price guide, so here it is, starting from lowest price to highest:Simple ponies in simple poses $50.
These can be canon or OC characters, they generally have a pretty normal hair style and no accessories. $50 each. I use a resin base and sculpt the mane, tail, ears, horns, and wings over them, then hand paint with acrylics.
Clothing and accessories can be added for additional cost.
examples:If you want a pony with accessories, it will probably cost around $75:Alicorn Style Ponies $100:
These tend to be larger than regular ponies, with giant manes and often clothing or accessories.Something both Unique and Complicated will usually run between $100-$200, depending on complexity:Martini Ponies: $300
The higher cost of these is due to the higher costs of materials and the time it takes to make them. They are not only larger than my normal sculptures, but the resin I use for the liquid and the martini glass itself can be kind of pricey. Two Foot Tall Pony! $1,000
I don't even have a completed example to show you! I made a Giant Fluttershy as proof of concept, but it takes several months and a lot of material to make one of these, not to mention the mess it makes in my workshop! The finished pony would be much smoother than the example I have provided, and be fully painted (if the commissioner desires). The sky's the limit!
If you don't know what category you idea falls into, or would like a non-pony commission quote, feel free to send me a note! I love a challenge, so don't be shy!Send me a note if interested in a future commission!
