Shiny Luna is now on ebay! by EarthenPony Shiny Luna is now on ebay! by EarthenPony
I added a coat of clear acrylic sealer to Luna, which helps protect the paint and makes her super shiny!

The first one sold already, but the other one is still available, so I am putting her on ebay! cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?…

Bidding starts at one cent, so maybe someone will get her really cheap!

I probably wont make another one of these for a little while, because I have too many commissions I need to finish, but if you would like one in the future, feel free to send me a note!

Don't forget, I am also on tumblr!

I really like the work on this! The shiny purple paint is the perfect touch. What brand is it?

It's the folkart brand from Walmart. I usually don't like Walmart brand paint, but this stuff is all right.

wow that is rare for walmart paint to get painted on so smooth.  I would always have trouble with most of it showing all my brush strokes. I will definitely look for that shiny purple paint you got :D Thanks!

Yup. I wont use their normal colors, because they suck, but the metallic paints seem to work fine.

I've really wanted to start making things like this, exept i'd keep mine for myself, do you use clay to make them?

Very shiny. :)
Is that clear acrylic sealer applied by spraying it on or painting it on?  I was looking for a clear acrylic sealer at Michaels the other day, but I wasn't exactly sure what to look for.
